Arrival and Transfer to The Lion Rock
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide. You will then prepare to journey to Sigiriya, which is indeed one of the most prominent attractions in Sri Lanka. Once you reach your hotel in Sigiriya, take some time to rest and relax as you will be braving the heights of the mighty Sigiriya Rock Fortress today. This majestic fortress is one of the most prominent attractions in Sri Lanka. It was built by King Kasyapa who ruled on the island between 477 and 495 CE. A massive rocky plateau 370 meters above the sea level 260 meters above from the surrounding area. You will spend between 45 to 60 minuets to climb to the top of the rock and colourful frescoes, boulder gardens, terraced gardens, water gardens are the other major attractions you can see on your way. Ones you climb top of the rock you will be mesmerised by the view of surrounding area. When evening comes, retire to your cosy hotel room and get a good night’s sleep.

Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site will be explored today. In this Rock Cave Temple, there are more than 80 documented caves,153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings, four statues of gods and goddesses. The Dambulla Cave Temple is a living Buddhist site that is focused on a series of five cave shrines. Inhabited by forest-dwelling Buddhist monks since the 3rd century BCE, these natural caves have been transformed continuously throughout the historical period into one of the largest and most outstanding Buddhist complexes in the Southern and South Eastern Asian region. You can spend the afternoon at leisure by village Sigiriya.

Going to The Last Kingdom Kandy
The journey from Sigiriya to Kandy, which will take approximately 2 hours, will begin right after your early morning breakfast. En route visit Spice Garden where you can enjoy the Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices at their source. Tropical garden full of herbs and spice plants. The magnificent city of Kandy which you will reach presently was the last capital of the ancient Sinhalese kings. During the day you will be visiting the Temple of the Tooth Relic and Kandy lake. A spectacular traditional dance performance will also add colour to your day.

There couldn’t be a better way to get to Nuwara Eliya than a scenic train ride! We will reach Nuwara Eliya by embarking on a scenic train ride which will take your every breath away! Many even say that this train ride is one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. So, get your cameras ready before you board! The journey will take about 3.5 hours. Once you arrived little England in Sri Lanka, you can travel around the city and witness the grand aura of its colonial buildings and spend the evening at the banks of Gregory Lake.

Through Horton Plains to World’s End
UNESCO designated Sri Lanka’s central highlands a World Heritage Site for their outstanding beauty. So today you are going to experience some of their most dramatic landscapes on Horton Plains National Park and the vertiginous World’s End cliffs. Normally we start the hike in the early morning with breakfast packages. We will drive around 45 min to the park. The Horton Plains National Park is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. Look out for birds, lizards, bear monkey, and sambar deer as you hike 4 kilometers (9km round trip) to World’s End. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the journey. As the climate in the region is quite cold you will have to pack some extra layers of clothing as well. You will then return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure with afternoon high tea party at Grand Hotel.

Today you will be travelling to the dazzling shores of the southwest coast of Sri Lanka for the much awaited tropical break!
