Galle

The city of Galle is located on the South Coast of the country. Being one of the main tourist attraction points in Sri Lanka, Galle is mainly famous for its Fort which was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. There are a lot of Dutch colonial buildings, ancient mosques, churches, and museums in the city. The influence of Dutch architecture can be seen almost everywhere you look. apart from the Galle Fort, the Natural Harber, National Maritime Museum, and St. Mary's Cathedral are some famous sites to visit when you visit Galle.
