Leaving early from Negombo, you will be setting off on a 3-hour journey to Sigirya. Afternoon the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site will be explored. Get some much-needed rest at the hotel at night.

Climb up to the 8th Wonder of the World

After breakfast you will climb 8th Wonder of the World, “The Lion Rock” (UNESCO World Heritage Site) a massive rocky plateau 370 meters above the sea level 260 meters above from the surrounding area. You will spend between 45 to 60 minuets to climb to the top of the rock and colourful frescoes, boulder gardens, terraced gardens, water gardens are the other major attractions you can see on the way. Ones you climb top of the rock you will be mesmerised by the view of surrounding area. After lunch set off to world famous northeastern coast on a 2-hour drive. Trincomalee offers a wonderful beach scene for some relaxation and fun once you’ve checked into your hotel.

As the sun rises across the horizon, You can start your day at beautiful Nilaveli beach. Later in the day, you will be taking a boat ride across the lagoon to Pigeon Island. Wildlife with Leopard in YALA

From the Arugam Bay, this morning you will be off on your way to the warm humid air of Yala in a 4-hour journey. After checking into your hotel, you will be visiting the Yala National Park. Here you will be able to catch a glimpse of animals like the sloth bear, leopard and sambar deer. Remember to be alert so that you don’t miss out on the chance to spot some rare animals here. Today, you will be heading to one of the most famous tourist spots in southern Sri Lanka, Galle. The journey will take around 3 hours. Once you reach the hotel in Galle you can spend some time leisurely. We will be visiting the grand Galle Fort today, which is a prominent attraction in the island. This fort was built by the Portuguese back in the year 1588 when they invaded the island. After exploring the site, there you will have the chance to spend the evening in a romantic small city and enjoy the tropical sunset in the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Return to your hotel and enjoy a restful night.
